Custom booklet tips

Custom means special, but custom doesn’t mean that you have to break the bank! Pick and choose custom services for your print job. Standard stock and colors can be used, but choose a custom size or a custom die-cut to make your piece stand out. Specialty graphic design and fresh marketing can help you to create a noticeable custom booklet.

If your custom booklet is being mailed, make sure that it meets the post offices regulations. A custom size or custom die-cut piece may not be accepted by the post office. Check USPS regulations before submitting your booklet to print. It is also important to make sure that your custom booklet meets our standards for bleed, trim and safety lines.

Full Color

Custom color printing is crucial to a stand-out booklet. Customize color options with us. A full color booklet, or color on the cover and black ink for your text on the inside pages can be created. We can print with special PMS colors as well. Aqueous and UV coatings are available for your booklet printing. Spot varnish helps your piece stand out. Free PDF proofs and hard copy proofs are available. PDF proofs are not color accurate, so order a hard copy proof if color accuracy is important to you.

Custom stock

Stock is a fantastic way to customize your booklets or catalogs! We offer standard stocks that can be customized with varnish and aqueous coating. 100# gloss text, 80# gloss cover and 80# gloss text are our standard stock options. Custom paper can be ordered for your booklet printing project. Many customers today are choosing environmentally friendly papers. We will work with you to find a paper that meets your needs.

Custom size

A custom size booklet can capture a views attention quickly. We offer standard 8.5 X 11 and 8.5 X 5.5 in our quick quote system; however we can create any size booklet for you. Odd sized items create curiosity and encourage people to take a second look.

Custom design

Custom booklet services

In addition to printing services, we offer many other custom booklet services. Saddle stitching and perfect binding options are offered to create your custom booklet. Each of these services can be customized to meet your needs. If you need another type of bindery please fill out a custom quote form. Saddle stitching is our most popular type of bindery because of the cost savings. Perfect binding is usually recommended for larger books. Custom laminating, foil stamping and hole drilling are also available.

Collating and fulfillment are other custom services that are available for your convenience. We will let you know when you are running low on your booklets. Your custom booklets will be stored a in a temperature controlled environment and pulled and shipped as needed.

Mailing, shipping and blind shipping are available for your custom booklet. Order in advance and we will ship your booklets directly to you via UPS ground for more reasonable rate. If you need your booklets shipped directly to your customer, we will ship them blind to them. Expedited shipping is available booklets that are needed quickly.
