Online postcard tips

Online printing is easy! Remember that online PDF proofs are not color accurate! Order a hard copy proof if color is critical to you. Order in advance to take advantage of UPS ground shipping. Lastly, if you are designing your own postcards, take advantage of our free templates to save you time designing!

Postcard color options

Three basic color postcard printing options are available for postcards. Full color on both the front and the back of your postcard is the most popular option. We also offer full color printing on the front side of your postcard with either black ink or a blank back. If you have color questions speak with a print professional in our live chat system.

Postcard stock options

Our standard stock option for postcards is 14 point card stock with UV coating on the front side. Custom stocks are available. Fill out a custom quote to obtain an even heavier or lighter card stock.

Postcard size options

We offer 4 X 6, 4.25 X 6, 6 X 9 and 6 X 11 options for your post card size. A 4.25 X 6 is the largest size approved by the post master for first class postcard rate. Custom sizes are available. Fill out a custom quote for an estimate. If your postcard is being mailed, check the cost of mailing due to the custom size before having your postcard printed.

Design your own postcards

If you are designing postcards online for personal or business use, check out our free templates to save time! These templates are available in all of our standard sizes and outline the bleed lines, safety lines and trim lines needed. Use our print ready checklist to make sure that your postcards meet our requirements for print, such as image resolution and artwork being sent in CMYK. Postcard mailing

We offer affordable mailing services for your postcards. We save you time by sending your cards directly from our printing press, to being cut, to our mailing machine. Simply supply us with your current mailing list or speak with one of our representatives about ordering a new mailing list.

Postcard shipping

If you are not mailing your postcard or if you are mailing your own, a few easy shipping options are available. UPS ground is our normal shipping method. If you need your order sooner, we offer overnight and two day air shipping. Blind shipment is also available for orders that need to be shipped directly to a customer without them knowing that it came from Print Lion. Shrink wrapping in packets of 50 is also available. Shrink wrapping makes counting and distribution of your postcards much easier.

If you are interested in online postcard printing, then you may also be interested in rack cards and sell sheets for business. Brochure printing may also be a wise choice. These printed pieces allow you to further explain your products and services. Posters may also work well to remind customers of your special offered in your postcard.
