Print Postcard

We offer free online PDF proofs that move your postcard to press sooner! Print Lion accepts all files types! PDF and EPS files are the quickest; however all files can be uploaded.

Postcard tips

When ordering postcards we recommend that you choose the printing options from our standard options list in order to get the best deal.  Contact us if you need postcard design assistance.  If you are designing your own postcards, we offer free templates in all of our standard sizes that save you time when laying out your postcard design.

Postcard color

Three main color options are available for postcards. Full color on both sides is available and is the most popular option because it allows you to use color graphics on the postcards front and back.  Color printing on the cover with black text on the back is available.  Full color on the cover with a blank back can be done as well. Take note that PDF proofs are not color accurate, so if color is a concern, order a hard copy proof. If you have color questions about your print postcard, use our live chat to get answers.

Postcard stock

14 point card stock is available as our standard stock for postcards. We offer UV coating on the front of your postcards. This glossy coating gives your postcard a high quality look while protecting your card. This is great for direct mail postcards. Heavier and lighter card stocks are available.

Postcard size

4 X 6, 4.25 X 6, 6 X 9 and 6 X 11 are our standard sizes offered in our quick quote system. 4.25 X 6 is the largest size approved by the post master to mail at the first class postcard rate. Custom sizes are available. Request a custom quote by completing the custom quote form. Die-cutting is available to make your postcards custom.

Design

You can design your own postcards or work with our graphic design team to create something that captures your audience’s attention! Our designers have worked across all industries and will work hard to achieve your brand image and bring your design to the next level. If you are designing your own postcards use our free postcard templates that come in all of our standard sizes. These templates will save you time laying out your postcards. The templates outline the bleed lines, trim lines and safety lines that are required for print. We also offer a print ready checklist for review before uploading your files for print.

Printing

We offer digital printing and sheet-fed offset printing for your postcard order. Orders of 500 or less will be printed digitally and orders of over 500 cards will be printed on one of our sheet-fed offset presses. Both types of card printing result in high quality postcards.

Post-press services

In addition to postcard printing, we offer many other specialty post-press services. Laminating, foil stamping, die-cutting and hole drilling are also available. If you are planning on mailing die-cut postcards, please check with the post office to check the cost and see if they are able to be mailed. View all of our services

Mailing

If you are using your print postcard as a direct mail piece, consider using our cost effective in-house mailing services. You no longer have to ship your postcards to a third party mail house and risk your postcards being damaged or lost. Simply send us your current mailing list or speak with one of our print professionals about reaching out to a new audience. We can get your postcards into the hands of your customers sooner using our mailing service!

Shipping

If you do not need to use our mailing services, we can mail your print postcard to you a few different ways. If you place your order in advance, we can ship your postcards UPS ground for the most affordable rates. We also offer overnight and two day air shipping if you need your postcards right away. Do you need your postcards to go directly to your customer? We offer blind shipping, which means we can send your postcards to your customer, without them knowing that they came from us. Remember to order samples if you would like to see the quality of your postcards.

If you are interested in a print postcard, then you may also be interested in brochure printing and rack card printing to get your message out to customers. Products and services can be listed throughout your brochures and rack cards to let customers know about everything that you offer. They can be distributed at trade shows and in your store.
