Tips

Color

Three main color options are available for your postcard printing design. Full color on the front and back is our most popular option. Stock

We offer a standard 14 point card stock as our quick quote stock. Our postcard printing comes with UV coating on the front, which adds a high quality finish. Custom stocks are available by filling out a custom quote form.

Size

When designing your postcard a size should be at the top of your list. We offer 4 X 6, 4.25 X 6, 6 X 9 and 6 X 11 sizes for you to choose from. Remember a 4.25 X 6 is the largest size approved by the post master to be sent presort first class postcard rate. Custom sizes are available by filling out a custom quote form.

Design your own

If you are designing your own postcard, we offer free postcard templates to save you time! These templates outline the bleed lines, safety lines and trim lines needed for printing. Use our print ready checklist to make sure that your files meet our requirements for direct print. The templates are available in all of our standard sizes. If you are mailing your postcards make sure that your postcard printing design meets mailing requirements.

Printing

We offer two types of printing at Print Lion. Digital printing for orders of 500 or less and we offer sheet-fed offset printing for order of more than 500 cards. Both types of postcard printing offer a high quality postcard.

Mailing

If your postcard is being used as a direct mail piece, we offer cost-effect mailing services that save you time and money. You save time by not having to send your cards to a mail house and take the risk of the card being damaged or lost in transit. You can send us your current mailing list or speak with one of our representatives about ordering a new mailing list to reach out to a new target market.

If you are interested in postcard marketing, then you may also be interested in rack cards. Rack cards are similar to postcards, however they are not usually mailed and they are generally a 4 X 9 size. Posters and table tents are also available.
